Spring Uniform
I don’t know about you but I’m welcoming spring with open arms. All I can think about is a famous line from Pete the Cat:
“The birds are singing, the sky is bright. The sun is shining,I’m feeling ALRIGHT!”
Finding my personal style
I’m coming out on the other side of life with two under two, post-pandemic, post-move and adjusting to starting fresh on the east coast. I have a better sense of what makes me feel confident, correct sizing and flattering cuts and colors thanks to all of the trending color analysis content on social.
So welcome to an updated outfit that I hope to wear around NYC next month. It’s several of my tried and true closet staples (the tee, sunglasses and tote) plus a new trench, scarf and woven flats that I added for spring.
I also have this trench arriving tomorrow. I saw it on a woman in Dicks’ Sporting Goods (we were both in heated debates with our daughters but that didn’t stop me from asking her where she got it). I’ll compare the two and let you know which one earns a spot in the closet and which one is getting returned.
